What does IST actually do?

IST is a faculties management company. We manage mail and copy operations inside other large organizations. Daily tasks include a variety of duties including sorting mail, delivering it to different departments, and handling incoming and out going packages from delivery carriers, and providing copy services.

What type of companies does IST work for?

We work for all types of companies ranging from law firms to hospitals, universities, and television networks.

Do I need a college degree?

A degree is helpful, but not necessary, and is not required for sales or operations positions.

What are the physical requirements for the job?

Associates need to be able to stand and walk for long periods of time and have the ability to lift up to 55 lbs.

What is the dress code?

IST employees are expected to portray a professional image. This varies by site, ranging from business dress (such as a dress shirt and tie for male employees) to business casual attire (such as khakis and a polo shirt).

How are employees promoted?

All promotions are fair and without bias because we methodically track every employee’s work progress. When a management position becomes available, we choose the best candidate for the job by analyzing their job reviews, performance, past experience and training levels.

Does IST Management promote internal advancement?

IST strongly encourages promotion from with in, in fact, over 80 percent of our current management team was promoted from within.

How long does it take to get promoted?

Promotions depend on the availability of positions. We carefully evaluate the qualifications of each employee and find the best fit. The average time to first promotion is 12-18 months.

How many hours will I work per week?

Most of our full time non-exempt employees work 40 hours per week. Overtime is occasionally available and is voluntary. All hours worked over 40 hours per week are paid in accordance with state guidelines.

Do I have to work nights and weekends?

Most of our sites operate during normal business hours, Monday through Friday.

How often do we get paid?

All employees are paid bi-weekly. Direct deposit and pay check alternatives are available.

Does IST perform drug screens and background checks?

Yes, we perform drug screens and background checks on all of our potential employees prior to being hired.

Full-time employees and their dependents, as acknowledge by our providers, are eligible for benefits.
